Hopeless is a book about hope, about love and about believing there are good persons on earth.
The book started like this:
For Vince.
Some fathers give you life. Some show you how to live it. Thank you for showing me how to live mine
Collen had me at "some show you how to live it" because I felt she was describing the best father in the world, I mean, my father. He showed me EVERYTHING I know and I became who I am thanks to him.
After this first sentence the book starts on October 28th which happens to be my birthday :)
We get to meet Sky, her freak-against-technologies mother and Holder. They all are special characters and I loved them. I don't really know how to speak about this book without spoilers and I really want you guys to experience the same I have experienced reading this book (thanks to all spoiler free reviews that I read before reading the book).
As I said, this is a book about hope as you hope a happy ending (if possible) for all of them and you hope there is a good future for them. In spanish we say "La esperanza es lo ultimo que se pierde", this means "Hope is the last you lose" or something like this... and it is so true because even when we have a bad moment we always hope something good is about to come.
I also want to mention SIX, I missed her at the end of the book. We all need a friend like her and I loved all her texts. I also loved that crazy mormon, we all need a friend like him :)
Before I start spoilering this amazing story I am gonna mention my favorite moments/sentences:
*The list that Six gave to Sky about the school, I loved it!
"Tell your daddies I said thank you". Well done Sky, they needed to shut the f**k up!
"Want to be my very bestest friend ever in the whole wide world?"
"Aren't you in my Science class?"
"English"
"I did speak English, I said, 'aren't you in my Science class?'"
Oh, holy hell. Maybe I don't want to be than blonde
"Lust is the best of all the deadly sins" That's my Six!
*The stalking conversation between Holder & Sky, I loved it. Maybe because I am a little bit stalker sometimes lol.
"It's the fake happily ever afters that should piss you off"
"Sky, you are beautiful. You are possibly the most exquisite creature in the universe and if anyone tells you otherwise, I'll cut a bitch". This moment with Holder reading Six's text was hilarious.
*All texts from Holder trying to deflate Sky's ego, I love that.
"My self confidence has just gone out the window, and I really need an ego building text from Six right now"
"The moment my lips touch yours, it will be your first kiss. Because if you've never felt anything when someone's kissed you, then no one's ever really kissed you. Not the way I plan on kissing you"
"I thought Mormon's weren't allowed to have caffeine"
"I decided to break that rule the morning I woke up guy"
* OMG, that mention to The Sea of Tranquility!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was on the beach reading this and I was smiling like a stupid! I LOVED IT!
*I love the way Colleen make up words (like I do, but in my case is just because my english sucks). I LIVE HER FOR THIS. AND I LIVE ALL MY GR FRIENDS BTW!!!

*Licking dimples moment :), those kids are soooo sweet!
"Fuck all the firsts, Sky. The only thing that matters to me with you are the forevers"
"There is nothing like the guilt you feel when there's room in your heart to love evil"
It's what happens when two people become one: they no longer only share love. They also share all of the pain, heartache, sorrow, and grief VERY TRUE
